India ¼a QV postal stationery postcard from Poonch to Kashmir additionally franked with Poonch 1887 1p red on blue wove batonne paper tied by "KAHUTA / JL 26 / 94" squared circle Imperial exchange office cancel with Jammu Imperial delivery cds and Jammu & Kashmir State delivery cds dated 29 July 1894. It is interesting to note that while the Jammu & Kashmir State post delivered this postcard to the addressee, the recipient was not charged State postage because of a reciprocal agreement between the two States allowing the delivery of each other's mail without requiring payment of incoming State postage.
